Who is Michael Power?

Michael’s lifelong enthusiasm for the outdoors was cultivated by his parents, whose guidance and love for nature and outdoor pursuits had a significant impact on him.

•Inspired by his father, Michael began taking photographs on family hikes.

•Encouraged by his parents' enthusiasm for photography, he started developing his own film and prints in the family darkroom at age 12.

•Mentored with Johsel Namkung while first introduced at a workshop. Later to be friends sharing many adventures in the outdoors.
